Born on October 3, 1954 in Akutupa-Kiri in Kabba/Bunu Local Government Area of Kogi State, Mr Femi Mokikan is a Lagos-based Human Resource Management Expert and a Legal Practitioner.
On completion of his secondary school education at Government Secondary School, Okene in 1973, Femi proceeded to the Federal Government College, Warri, for his Advanced Level and came out in flying colors in 1975. With his A/L, he secured direct admission into University of Lagos. He obtained a Bachelors of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Business Administration in 1978. To keep his academic flag flying, Femi followed it up with MBA in the same university in 1983. In 2004, Femi completed another degree, this time in Law. He did his NYSC program in 1978-79 at the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Maiduguri. Between 1979 and 1985, he taught Business-related courses (at both OND and HND levels) at the Federal Polytechnic, Bida. From the classroom, he moved to consulting. In 1985, he joined FIM Consultants Ltd., Lagos as a Senior Consultant. He functioned here very well until December 1988 when he moved to Arthur Andersen & Co. arguably the foremost consulting organization in the world then (Now Accenture).

From Arthur Andersen & Co, he joined Seven-Up Bottling Company Plc. in 1992 as Head, Human Resource Management following his outstanding contribution in a one year consulting engagement with the company. His main responsibility in SBC was to re-engineer the HR function and provide needed leadership via the HR function to the over 4,500 SBC management, senior, junior, expatriates and African employees of the company in the country.

Femi places high premium on professionalism. He is an active member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPMN) where he is currently a Fellow, a Council member and Chairman of its Institutional Development Committee, a position he is holding for the second time in a row. He is also active in the Nigerian Institute of Training and Development (NITAD) where he sits on the Board of Fellows. He is a Fellow of the Academy for Entrepreneurial Studies (AES), a Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM) and a Member, Nigerian Bar Association (NBA)

The Management training courses, seminars and workshops he has attended up-to-date are too numerous to itemize. In 1989 and 1991, he was at the Centre for Professional Education at St. Charles, Illinois for weeks in a bid to up-date himself career-wise. Being an apostle of continuous learning, he participated in different Management programs organized by the Lagos Business School – LBS. In 2003, he went to Zimbabwe (courtesy of NECA) to participate in the ILO/ARLAC-sponsored workshop on Poverty Alleviation and Wealth Creation through Employment & Promotion of Decent Work in the Labor Market. He was also a participant observer at the ILO Joint Union/Management Negotiation Skills workshop held in Abuja in June 2003. In 2010, he was at the prestigious Harvard Business School for a seminar on Performance and Productivity. He has attended several other Management programs covering a strategic issues in Human Resource Management, Job Evaluation and Compensation Management. He is a beneficiary of the famous Covey Leadership programme.

As the Executive Director, Human Resource Management, he represented SBC at NECA (Nigeria Employer’s Consultative Association) where he served as Chairman of Committee of Human Resource Experts (CHRE) for many years. Before that, he had served as Chairman, Committee of Personnel Experts (COPE) of the Association of Foods, Beverage, and Tobacco Employers (AFBTE) for many years. He, in that capacity, doubled as the Chairman, National Joint Industrial Council (NJIC) of AFBTE/NUFBTE.

He was at different times a member of the Education Committee, and Ethics Committee of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPMN).
During his career he was always on the Employers Team in every major national delegation comprising Government, Employers and Labor at local or international fora. This took him to Switzerland, Norway, Italy and South Africa. He served on the Federal Government National Minimum Wage Committee that fixed the current national minimum wage. He was also on the Board of the National Wages, Salaries and Income Commission, representing the employers’ interest, where he was at the tail end of his second of a five-year term before he retired from the services of SBC. Femi also represented the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN) on the Committee on National Productivity Merit Award for eight years.

Mr. Mokikan’s academic and career background is strong and rich. He is exposed to and by some of the best consulting and training organizations. He is a good listener, teacher, trainer, coach and communicator. He is hardworking and has the capability to adapt to situations and challenges with ease. With solid hands-on experience spanning several years, Mr. Mokikan is a model in his career to many young Africans who want to become successful practitioner in Human Resource Management. He has a strong passion for building people and mentoring them for a better future. And he does not make noise about this. In spite of his achievements, this man, popularly called Femi by his colleagues, is humble, easy-going and relates effectively with people irrespective of their class, religion, education, sex, color, race, age and background.

In spite of his numerous high profile callings, Femi still has time for community activity. He is one of the founding fathers of the Akutupa Welfare Association (AWA), an association that provides him a platform to give back to his community. He is not limited in his community activities to his Akutupa community alone. He responds to all community invitations to the best of his ability. In the same token, he has a passion for the work of God and this he demonstrates across denominations in different parts of Nigeria.

Following his retirement in July 2015, he declared that he is retired but not tired. To give expression to that, he set up his own Consulting outfit, INTERVENTIONS & RESULTS LTD where he is currently the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer. He has also committed to participate actively in the political agenda of his people at home

Mr. Femi Mokikan is married to Titilayo and they are blessed with responsible children and grandchildren.

He also has an excellent working knowledge using Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, & Power Point. He trains on various areas including leadership; customer service, Management etc. He is motivates, and has great passion in performance management.

A team player, with zero tolerance for failure, he is a strategist and developer of plans; with great analytical strength and with a great bias for Research & Development. He has attended many courses and Trainings in Risk Management, Safety and Loss Control, process re-engineering, Management Project, Business Continuity, He is a Certified Public Accountant and an Associate Nigerian Institute of Management.

He is a Christian, married with Children and loves watching football.


Director, Operations

Adeyemi Ajayi started his career in Akintola Williams Deloitte as a professional accountant and external auditor. He has worked as Internal Control Officer in Bank PHB (now Keystone Bank). He later became a pioneer member of Operational Risk Management Department, Head Loss Event Analysis, Risk Identification and reporting in Bank PHB. He obtained B.Agric from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife. Also In view is B.Sc in Applied Accounting in Oxford Brooke's University. He is a member of a few professional bodies which includes Global Association of Risk Professional, USA; Institute of operational Risk in UK; Risk Management Association of Nigeria and UK.

He has developed several business policies and executed several management projects; and these include process re-engineering, Enterprise Wide Risk Management Project, Business Continuity, Management and Disaster Recovery Planning, Business Process Management and Product Development.

He has presented papers for Harvard Business School MBA Class 2011; Institute of Controls and Risk Management, USA. He is also a guest speaker at several conferences, seminars and business meetings. A teacher, and a strategic thinker with an eye for details; he has contributed immensely to the growth and development of companies he has worked for. He has taught and lectured in many schools and professional institute like Nigeria Institute of Management (NIM) Institute of Air Travels and Maritime Studies (IATMS).
